Applicability

The Labour Codes are applicable to establishments based on factors such as nature of business, employee strength, operational structure, industry classification, contractor engagement, and wage practices. The applicability may vary depending upon the provisions under the Code on Wages, Industrial Relations Code, Code on Social Security, and Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code along with the corresponding State Rules and notifications.
